Joyful Noise Vintage Audio
"Helping You Make A Joyful Noise"
Consider the following before calling, messaging, or bringing your unit in for repair. People have been down right rude, disrespectful and ugly and it will not be tolerated. If you cannot be patient on the repair of your item or trust me with the utmost care of your item, then do not under any circumstances bring it in or ship it in!!! Thanks in advance!
If you do bring in your unit, you will be agreeing to and signing the same as shown below.
I have been made aware that Jason Kritz, owner and operator of Joyful Noise Vintage Audio, runs this business by himself. Because of this, there is always a backlog of work to be completed. I realize and understand that my item's repair and or restoration may be delayed. I also understand that there will be no time frame given on the estimate or repair of the item. I also understand that after an estimate is given, work will not start immediately as the estimate has been worked in as time allows.

I understand that I am not the only customer that Jason has and there are other people ahead of me; waiting very patiently for their items to be completed. Therefore, I promise not haggle, complain and/or gripe to Jason about the delay in repair and/or restoration of my item.

I have been made aware that Jason Kritz, owner and operator of Joyful Noise Vintage Audio, was unintentionally poisoned as a child. Therefore, as a result he suffers from chronic health issues, that sometimes impairs his ability to be in the workshop. Because of this, my item's repair and or restoration may be delayed. I will therefore promise not to be upset, complain, cop an attitude and haggle Jason due to the delay of the repair and/or restoration of my item.

I understand that my item is either of an antique or vintage nature and there are not always major parts available for my item. Therefore, my item's repair and or restoration could be delayed by months or years depending on the availability of used parts. I will therefore promise not to be belligerent and be upset over a major delay in getting my item repaired and/or restored.

I am aware and understand that Jason Kritz, owner and operator of Joyful Noise Vintage Audio, is also the pastor of Crabtree Chapel Baptist Church of Spruce Pine, NC. I am aware that Jason can be called away at any time to fulfill his pastoral duties and that he is unavailable on Wednesday evenings and on Sundays. Because of pastoral duties, Jason Kritz will be out of the shop and therefore the repair and/or restoration of my item may be delayed. I therefore promise to not be upset or to complain to Jason in anyway due to the delay in my item's repair/and or restoration.

I am aware and understand that Jason Kritz, owner and operator of Joyful Noise Vintage Audio, does have a family and will be taking time off to spend time with his family. Therefore, he will be out of the shop and my item's repair and/or restoration may be delayed. I therefore promise not to be upset and cuss/fuss at Jason over the delay in repair and/or restoration of my item.

I have been made aware that if I decide not to repair and/or restore my item, then I will be charged a bench fee of $71.50 + tax. I will also have to sign a letter to hold Jason Kritz and Joyful Noise Vintage Audio harmless in the event that my unit is in a dangerous state to operate in its unrestored or unrepaired condition. If my item that I have refused the estimate on is not picked up in 14 days, I understand that it will be the property of Joyful Noise Vintage Audio.

I am aware and understand that I have three free updates for me to call or text on the repair and/or restoration of my item. All other updates I require will incur a fee of $35.00 per update. If Jason feels the need to update me on his own, I will not be charged an update fee. I realize the busyness of a repair shop and I will wait for Jason to call me and let me know my item is finished. I therefore promise to not be angry or bully Jason in anyway if I have not heard from him in a while.

I am aware and understand that Jason will not tolerate a bad attitude, belligerence, anger, using foul language (cursing, using the Lord's name in vain) in any way about the delay of my item, or in an attempt to bully or guilt trip Jason into repairing my item faster than normal. If I do, the item's repair and/or restoration will cease immediately with no exceptions. I will then either pay a $71.50 + tax bench fee or the invoice total of a partial repair or restoration. Due to my bad attitude, I am aware that the unit will have to be picked up in 3 days no exceptions. After the 3-day period, I am relinquishing ownership of the unit to Joyful Noise Vintage Audio and it will be sold to cover the cost of the repair or sold for salvage.

I understand that if any special order (non-stock) parts are ordered for my unit, I must wait until the repair is completed. I also understand the idea of my timeframe for repairs and the professional timeframe for repairs in this shop is two different things. The shop’s timeframe supersedes mine.

I am aware and understand that once I am notified of my item's completion, I will have 14 days to pick up my item, unless other arrangements are made. If I fail to pickup the unit after 14 days, I will be relinquishing ownership of my unit to Joyful Noise Vintage Audio and the unit will be sold to recoup the invoice total.

I am aware that the labor rate @ Joyful Noise Vintage Audio is $65.00/Hr.

I am aware that there will be a shop supply fee that is 10% of the labor charge or $15.00 max that covers the soldering and cleaning supplies to repair and restore

Finally I understand that there will be no more rush fees, due to the unethical practice of pride; which is putting myself ahead of others.
